Ferrari has announced that it will launch its 2010 Formula 1 car on Thursday 28 January in Maranello.

The team recently revealed that its new challenger will be designated the 281, and will make its track debut at the first post-testing ban running at Valencia on 1 February.

Ferrari is determined to mount a resurgence in 2010, having halted development on its frustrating 2009 car early in the season in order to pour maximum effort into this year’s machine.

It has signed Fernando Alonso from Renault to replace Kimi Raikkonen alongside Felipe Massa this season.
